Description
xmltv2html
xmltv2html is a cool Ruby script that helps you create an HTML page from XMLTV data. If you want to get organized with your TV listings, this is the tool for you! With xmltv2html, you'll see channels lined up vertically and show times across the top. It even shows info about the shows using neat DHTML popups.
Customize Your HTML Page
You can tweak almost everything on your HTML page thanks to a handy configuration file and CSS file. So, whether you want it simple or fancy, xmltv2html has got your back!
Make Sure Your xmltv File is Ready
Before diving in with xmltv2html, it’s super important to have a valid xmltv file ready to go. To help you out, the xmltv distribution comes with two essential programs:
- tv_sort: This one sorts your listings by date and adds stop times (check out the manual with man tv_sort).
- tv_grep: This tool filters programs and shows (again, see man tv_grep).

You can set up xmltv2html manually by downloading and unpacking the .tar.gz or .zip file. After that, just run:

gem install xmltv2html
