If you want to switch up the background color, just hop into your terminal and type in gnome-appearance-properties. Easy peasy!

Steps to Change Your Theme

• Right-click on your desktop and choose Change Desktop Background.


• Select the first tab: Theme.


• Drag and drop the theme's archive into the Appearance Preferences window.


• If all goes well, you'll get a confirmation message. Just click on the theme to activate it!
