YapySudoku is an open source software that can generate and solve different types of Sudoku puzzles (normal or X, ie. where the diagonals have the same constraints as the rows, the columns and the boxes).
The possible sizes for the Sudoku puzzles are 4x4, 9x9 and 16x16. Larger sizes could be possible too.
You can create easy, medium, hard or very hard Sudoku puzzles. The only difference between the three levels of difficulty is the number of values initially placed onto the grid.
It is also possible to play this game with someone else with the network mode.
