Yays

Yays is a handy little app for your Mac that makes listening to music from YouTube super easy. With so many songs available for free on YouTube, it's no surprise that folks often turn to this popular video platform for their tunes. But let's be real, managing a bunch of tabs in your web browser can get messy fast. That's where Yays steps in!

Easy to Use

This simple OS X app lets you save the URLs of all your favorite YouTube videos so you can play them anytime without cluttering up your browser window. Cool, right?

Add Your Favorites

There are three ways to add new videos to your list:

• Copy and Paste: Just copy the YouTube link and hit Cmd+G to import it straight into Yays.


• Drag and Drop: You can also drag the link into Yays, but it'll always go at the end of your list.


• Add Manually: Press the 'ADD' button and paste the link, though we had some trouble getting this to work on two different systems.

Watch Your Videos

Once you've saved a clip in Yays, just click its entry in your list to watch it. The video pops up in its own panel, complete with classic YouTube controls. Plus, there's a filter option that helps you find specific videos more easily.

No More Clutter

The best part? Once you start playing a video, you can minimize Yays into your menu bar. This means no more messy tabs crowding your browser! Just one tiny downside: those notifications every time a new video plays can get annoying—an option to turn them off would be great.

A Few Missing Features

Your collection might feel limited because Yays doesn't let you sort or group videos together. If you save too many clips, finding what you want could become tricky.

Create Playlists?

The biggest drawback? There's no way to rearrange items in your collection or create custom playlists unless you add them in the exact order you want from the start.

The Bottom Line

If Yays could add some extra features, it would be a super useful tool! Right now, it's got potential but still needs work to make it easier for users like us.
