Zeus GFM is a simple-to-use file explorer that facilitates basic file management options. It doesn't require installation and can be handled with ease by all types of users.

The application adopts a classical-looking interface that doesn't put emphasis on graphical elements, yet it's easy to figure out. You can specify the full path of a location you want to visit in the navigation bar, as well as view all contains files and folders, along with their size, item type, and date of last modification.

A separate pane gives you the possibility to instantly access common places on the disk, such as the desktop, My Computer, My Documents, Windows, Program Files, or the Start Menu. Another pane records all recently visited places.

It's possible to switch to the folder tree view to obtain a file browsing structure similar to Windows Explorer, use back and forward buttons, refresh the items in the current directory, or filters files by name. The right-click menu is the same as the one in Windows Explorer. Plus, the drag-and-drop method is supported for moving and copying items.

Since it's wrapped in a portable package, you can save Zeus GFM's program files anywhere on the disk or on a USB flash drive, and directly launch it on any PC with minimum effort. It shouldn't make any changes to your Windows registry.

The tool worked smoothly in our tests, without triggering the operating system to hang, crash or prompt error messages. It had minimal impact on the overall performance of the machine, running on low CPU and RAM.

On the other hand, Zeus GFM comes loaded with just a handful of features for a file manager. We must also take into account that it hasn't been updated for a long time. Nevertheless, you can test it for yourself, since it's free.
