Easy Installation Steps

Getting started with Active Directory Change Notifier is super simple! Here's what you need to do:

• Install the program on a domain controller.


• Fill in your domain name and password, then select the objects you want to monitor.


• You can choose both parent and leaf objects for monitoring.


• Add at least one email address where you want AD change reports sent (you'll need this step!).


• Set up your SMTP server settings—this includes the server name, port number, and sender address.


• Click OK and enter the account name and password that will generate reports. It’s best to use a domain admin account here; otherwise, you might miss some entries in your reports!
