Aero Fullscreen Watcher is a small Windows application developed with a single goal in mind: to help you disable the Aero effects when a program is running in full screen mode. It is designed using AutoIt (a scripting language for automating the Windows GUI and general scripting) and its main purpose is to allow you to play games with the Aero effect turned off. You can disable the Aero effect to all running programs not only to games.
Aero Fullscreen Watcher automatically detects and displays all software utilities that are currently running on your system in a drop-down list. You can disable the Aero effects for the selected process. The Aero effects are turned off as long as the target tool remains the active foreground window. What’s more, you are allowed to enable the Aero effects with a single click and make the application run at Windows startup.
There’s not much to write about when it comes to describing the GUI. The tool adopts a clean and simplistic layout that embeds all configuration settings into a single layout. It doesn’t include a help manual but you do not need one to decode the function of each dedicated parameter as they are highly intuitive.
All things considered, Aero Fullscreen Watcher comes with an essential pack of features for helping you disable the Aero effects, and can be mastered by all types of users, regardless of their experience level.
