The installation is quick and only takes a few clicks. Before you know it, you’ll be up and running! You can even open the app right after installing it to give it a test run. Just make sure you have the .NET Framework installed or updated to the latest version for everything to work smoothly.

Straightforward Interface

When you open BlueGem, you'll see a clean interface. The current date is shown in the upper right corner, along with a toolbar that has quick commands and an editor for your writing. At the bottom of the window, you can see how many lines, words, and characters you've written. It keeps track of everything!

File Format Support

Currently, BlueGem only supports RTF file formats. But don’t worry; you can easily import text from other documents or just paste it from your clipboard. One downside is that the content doesn’t fit nicely into the panel, which might make reading and editing a bit frustrating at times.

No Security Features

A little heads up: BlueGem doesn’t have any protection features to keep your data safe from changes or prying eyes. Plus, there’s no option to change the background color of the interface either. And honestly, some of those buttons could use an upgrade in quality!

Basic Customization Options

The customization options are pretty basic—you can change font types, sizes, colors, and even add superscript or subscript text. However, there’s no way to arrange your text for better visibility or insert images, hyperlinks, symbols, or bullet lists. If you're looking for find-and-replace functions or spell check features—those aren’t included either!

How Download Works
