What is CalcAll?

CalcAll

CalcAll is a handy software tool for calculating gage and workpiece tolerances. Whether you're dealing with plain surfaces, threads, or even ID and OD measurements, CalcAll has got you covered. It supports various standards like ISO, DIN, BS, UN, and more. Plus, it even includes formulas for measuring threads over wires!

Key Features of CalcAll

Here are some key features of CalcAll:

  • Tolerance calculation for workpieces:

    • Plain shaft

    • Plain hole

    • Thread shaft

    • Thread hole

  • Tolerance calculation for gages:

    • Plain plug

    • Plain ring

    • Thread plug

    • Thread ring

This software also helps with effective diameter tolerance and drilling hole sizes. You can measure both external and internal diameters of gages easily.

Diverse Norms Available

You’ll find a variety of norms in CalcAll:

  • ISO metric:

    • ISO/R - 1938, ISO 286, ISO 965/1, ISO/R - 1502.

  • ANSI/ASME:

    • B1.13M (ISO 965/1), B1.16M 1984.

  • Whitworth:

    • BS 919, BS 84.

  • Buttress:

    • B1.9, BS 1657.

The software also includes measurement formulas for threads using the three wire method and contact arms.

Simplified Unit Conversion

You can perform unit conversions easily! Whether it’s length (mm, inch), temperature (°C, °F), mass (Kg, pounds), angles (degrees or radians), or pressure (atm or bar) – CalcAll does it all!

Thermal Expansion & Printouts

This tool even calculates thermal expansion for common materials. And when you finish your calculations? You can print out your results along with the tolerances calculated!

A Few Limitations to Note:

  • Nag screen might pop up occasionally.

  • The ISO norm is currently the only available option; other features are locked until upgraded.
