Windows 11 has its fair share of controversies, with some being easier to overlook than others. Even so, a lot of users find the new OS iteration focus on form over function, which the new context menu exemplifies: a sleek design, sure, but one that lacks the practicality of the former one.
Despite Microsoft's efforts, Windows 11 is still a customizable OS to some degree. A context menu mod via a tool like ClassicMenu is thus a real possibility: this small utility will let you switch to the Windows 10 context menu with a single click.
The modified context menu is among the first changes you'll notice when updating to Windows 11. While a number of changes have been made to the overall interface to make it look sleeker and more modern, it's not all for the better, at least in terms of practicality.
While the toggle works as expected, it's to be noted that you don't get much to work with outside of that. The program's interface is a bit wasteful with the space it takes on your display, as I found it a bit oversized for its purpose.
It's a single toggle with lots of empty space around it.
It would have been appreciated for the tool to have some context menu editing capabilities, where you would modify the entries as you saw fit. As it stands, ClassicMenu provides a Windows 11 tweak that may be essential to some users, but it doesn't do anything beyond that.
