If you are using more than one monitor with your computer, then there is a good chance that you heard of DisplayLink. In short, the technology provides a quick way to expand your current workspace and acts as a virtual driver that can render graphics to the device. The technology is not perfect, and users have reported errors and lag when using software that typically requires a high-end graphics card to work properly.
DisplaylinkLaggyFix is a tool designed to help you fix potential lag when loading the virtual driver by setting the process CPU priority to high. Under normal conditions, the priority is set to normal, so when you access it, the CPU load turns high and causes lagging. Thanks to this tool, the CPU's priority is always going to be set to high. To do so, the program keeps an eye on the DLL files responsible for loading the driver.
To avoid having to launch the tool every time you run your computer, the developer recommends you add it to the Task Scheduler. By adding it as a scheduled task, you will be able to make sure that the app runs with the highest privileges and even set other triggers than simply booting your computer.
