If you're a technically-inclined Windows 10 user, then we're sure you know that Microsoft's policy regarding its beloved Edge browser is a bit rigid, to say the least.
You may have noticed that sometimes when Windows 10 upgrades or when you install a new browser on your computer, the default browser is automatically switched back to Edge.
Happily, there's a nifty and unobtrusive, little app that can help you solve this "problem." Appropriately-called EdgeDeflector, it intercepts any URL that would usually be forced-open in Microsoft Edge and efficiently redirects it to your computer's default web browser instead.
It's quite easy to install, but it does require a small amount of attention on your part to make it work. The good news is that once installed and properly set up, you won't have to interact with it again, since, as mentioned before, it does all its magic in the background.
EdgeDeflector is a neatly-designed, little tool that is sure to enhance your Windows 10 user experience, bypassing what may very well be considered one of Microsoft's typical anti-competitive practices, in this case, regarding its bespoke browser.
