The tool carried out file removal jobs rapidly in our tests, remaining light on system resources consumption. Although drag-and-drop is not supported on Windows 8.1 Pro, files can still be easily moved by dropping them over the executable file.

FileShred comes loaded with the necessary options for wiping files and directories efficiently and is user-friendly for anyone to handle. Unfortunately, it hasn't received updates in a long time.
