The cool thing about this tool is its interface. You get to see an animation of Garfield either snoozing or doing silly little skits just for you. And guess what? You can drag this animation around your screen wherever you want using your mouse!

If you double-click anywhere on the small window, a speech balloon pops up with one of Garfield's classic sayings. But here’s a catch: it disappears as soon as you move your mouse away. It’s like a quick surprise every time!

No Configuration Settings?

Now, I should mention that Garfield 2 Desktop Kitty doesn’t have its own settings. But don’t worry! With the Yahoo! Widget Engine, you can open up the Widget Preferences area to tweak things a bit. You can make the frame stay on top or below other windows, ignore mouse clicks, and even set how transparent it is—anywhere between 20% and 100% opacity.

Performance and Compatibility

This widget is super light on system resources and has a quick response time. During our testing, it worked perfectly without any crashes or annoying error messages popping up. We didn’t run into any issues at all!
