What is HCS Analyzer?

So, you’ve got an interest in genetics? That’s awesome! HCS Analyzer is a cool software app designed just for that. It helps you analyze and process multivariate data with the help of High Content Screening (HCS). Sounds fancy, right?

Getting Started with HCS Analyzer

Before you dive in, you'll need to have the .NET Framework installed on your PC. Once that's set up, you’ll see a big window with different sections for data visualization, stats and analysis, genomic analysis, plus some plugins.

Importing Data Made Easy

You can easily import screens from CSV or TXT files! This means you can display classes and see everything from the entire screening to just one plate at a time. Plus, it lets you pick the active class and do some quality control (QC).

Configuring Your Settings

The settings are pretty flexible too! You can tweak things like dimensionality reduction using PCA or other methods. If you've got errors to fix, no problem! You can use a B-score or Diffusion Model method to correct them. There’s even Z-Factor rejection that lets you set your own thresholds along with negative and positive controls!

Normalization Modes

You get options when it comes to normalization modes as well. Choose from percent of control, normalized percent inhibition, Z-score, or minimum/maximum mode. Want more customization? HCS Analyzer has got your back with classification levels too!

Generating Screens and More!

This tool lets you generate univariate or multivariate screens and even single-cell simulators or screens from images! Pretty neat stuff if you're into analyzing data.

Copying and Swapping Features

You can copy values straight to your Clipboard, swap classes around, create new images or even 3D worlds if you're feeling creative. And when it comes to picking correlation matrix types—choose between Pearson, Spearman, or MIC!
