This app can figure out unknown hot and cold side temperatures, along with the exit temperatures on both sides. It calculates pressure drops on both the shell and tube sides—this includes frictional drops, outlet, inlet, and total drops. How cool is that?

Useful Features for Your Projects

You can also find out unknown flow rates on either side (hot or cold), vessel dimensions, tube length, the number of spiral turns for the helical tube, heat load area, and even estimate the Nusselt number.

Add Your Own Data

The app lets you input your own Nusselt correlation in three different formats. If needed, you can add a specific number or a heat transfer coefficient as well. Plus, it comes packed with databases that can estimate physical properties for nearly 1,500 fluids!
