Informatik Scan is a really handy scanning software that works great with TWAIN-compliant scanners. It lets you scan images and save them in different formats. You can choose to save your scans as single or multipage compressed TIFF files, or pick from other popular formats like JPEG, GIF, PNG, and BMP. If you need PDF support, there's an optional add-on available too!
