ModbusTool is a handy program that helps you check the communication between a master and slave system. It lets you spot any irregularities during the process, making it easier to troubleshoot things.

Communicate with Ease

This software is designed for smooth information exchange via serial lines. You can test and tweak how this exchange works in different ways. There are three communication modes to pick from: TCP, UDP, and RTU protocols. Just make sure they match up between the master and slave!

Mastering Data Handling

The master has to read data from the slave efficiently, right? Luckily, ModbusTool offers several features for this. It can read and write single or multiple coils to manage discrete values. Plus, it does the same for registers that provide numerical values.

Viewing Your Operations

You’ve got options when it comes to seeing those read and write operations! They can appear as LEDs for easier reading or show up as binary, hex, integer, or FloatReverse values. You can customize these settings separately for both the master and slave instances. So, one could show binary numbers while the other displays integers!

Exporting and Importing Data

If you need to save or bring in data, you’re in luck! ModbusTool allows you to export or import your work using .csv format. This means you can easily check your saved values right in Excel.
