MyRouter Log is a handy networking tool that listens to log files created by ADSL modems and routers using UDP. This means you can keep an eye on what your router is up to, which is super helpful for troubleshooting any stability issues.
Getting this program up and running is a breeze. There are no complicated options or extra components to worry about in the setup file. Just remember, you'll need the .NET Framework; without it, the software won't work.
The interface of MyRouter Log is really user-friendly. It has a big window that looks clean and simple. You can start listening to port 514 with just one click, and stopping the monitor is just as easy!
You'll see all sorts of useful stats like the date and time of each action your ADSL modem or router takes, plus how many items have been logged in total. Unfortunately, there's no option to print or export these stats right now, but you can easily select and copy text if needed.
If you want to tweak some preferences, MyRouter Log lets you set how many lines show up in the main frame. You can also turn off the default log file that gets saved in the installed directory, manage systray notifications for messages and item counts, or disable those notifications altogether. Just note that you can't change the listened port.
No worries if you're not sure how to set things up! There's a help file available that gives clear instructions on how to log into your router's admin interface.
This app doesn't hog your computer's resources either! During our tests, it used very little CPU and RAM while running smoothly without causing any slowdowns or crashes.
