What is PlotVision?

PlotVision is a super handy program that helps you open all sorts of drawings and vector files. Whether it’s HPGL, DWG, TGA, or DXF, this tool has got you covered! You can easily manage your files, print them out, or even export them to different formats. It’s especially great for handling files made with CAD applications.

Open Various File Types

With PlotVision, you can open a wide range of file types. This includes popular images like PNG, TIFF, JPEG, and BMP. Plus, it supports other formats like PV8 files and CALS G4 projects! If you’re dealing with Calcomp 907 or EMF images, no problem at all. Some of the many supported formats are .HPGL, .RTL, .CGM, .DWG, and .DGN. You can easily exchange data from CAD programs and print or control them as needed.

Add Custom Touches

This program lets you add red lines and shapes without changing the original image. You can also add custom text for notes or instructions. It provides various tools to zoom in and out or fit the picture to your window. Oh! And if you need to rotate the image? Just twist it by 90°, 180°, or 270°!

Printing Made Easy

Before printing an image with PlotVision, you have a bunch of options to set up. Choose your printer type—whether isotropic or anisotropic—and decide if you want automatic redline loading or just print the black areas.

Tweak Your Settings

You can also play around with file transparency settings and adjust file resolution as well as bitmap size for RTL bitmaps. The cool part? You can batch print files or pick specific areas from the currently opened document.

Advanced Features

If you're looking for vectorization options, PlotVision has those too! Load vector dynamic link libraries with ease. The software even applies OCR algorithms to read text from PDFs or lets you import pictures directly from your clipboard as bitmap.

Exporting Files

A big plus is that PlotVision allows you to save your work in a different format than what you started with! Export contents into formats like TIFF, BMP, WMF, EMF, HP-GL-2, DXF 2000, CGM, DWG or PDF. Plus—you can choose a custom Twain source for added flexibility!
