What is SarAnt?

SarAnt is a lightweight software that lets you change the encoding format of text files all at once! Pretty cool, right? You don’t even need to install it; just grab it and start using it right away. The interface is super simple, with three panels. The top panel is where you can paste or copy your conversion rules, while the bottom panels show the names of your original files and any that have already been processed.

Easy File Management

When you create new files, they keep the same name as the originals but add a little suffix that says they've been cleaned up. This makes it really easy to find them later on!

Customizable Character Replacement

The main idea behind SarAnt is to help you swap out strings of characters according to rules you set. You can even use regex for more complex searches and replacements. This means you can convert things like UTF-8 to HTML in no time! To make your life easier, it's best to prepare a text file full of rules first and then just paste it into the right spot.

File Compatibility

While SarAnt mainly handles TXT files, don’t worry if you're working with different formats; regex will work for those too! Using SarAnt is as easy as dragging and dropping your files into the app and hitting the Start button.
