Thaddy's Netstat is a small and handy tool that helps you look at network info, like what’s happening with your network adapters and connections. It’s super simple to use, making it perfect for folks who might not be pros at networking stuff!
This software doesn’t come with a bunch of confusing options or settings, so you can dive right in without feeling lost. There’s no setup needed either! Just grab the program files and toss them on your hard drive. When you want to use it, just click the EXE file.
You can even save Thaddy's Netstat on a USB flash drive or any portable storage device. This makes it super easy to run the program on any PC without having to install anything first!
The cool thing is that this tool doesn’t leave extra entries in your Windows registry or Start menu. So when you’re done using it, your disk stays clean!
The interface is pretty straightforward. You get a nice window where you can see all sorts of useful info about each network adapter: driver name, MAC address, index number, DHCP status, WINS status, IP address, subnet mask, adapter type, default gateway – you name it! You can also see details like primary and secondary WINS servers and DHCP server times.
When it comes to network stats, Thaddy's Netstat covers everything from forwarding rates to how many datagrams have been received. You can also check out TCP and UDP connections along with their statuses – local and remote addresses and ports are all there too! Plus, if you need fresh data, you can refresh the info easily.
This tool is lightweight on your computer performance; it uses very little CPU and RAM. However, keep in mind that it hasn’t been updated in a while and might have trouble running smoothly on newer operating systems. In our tests on Windows 7, we saw some crashes here and there.
