How to Use Txt2Csv

The first step in the app is to browse your computer to add files. Just a heads-up: there’s no drag-and-drop feature, so you'll have to navigate through your folders manually.

File Compatibility

You can only convert .txt files with this app. Unfortunately, if you try using documents from other text editors, you’ll hit a wall.

Saving Your Files

Your converted files will automatically save in the same folder as the original file. But if you want, you can choose a different folder too! Plus, there are options for field and line delimiters—seven to be exact—so you can adjust them according to your needs.

Customizing Output CSV Files

You also get some options for how the output CSV files look. You can select a field delimiter and even enable double quoting for fields if needed. There’s flexibility to pick which column or line you'd like to remove too!

No Batch Conversion Yet

A few things to note: while there’s a progress bar at the bottom showing your conversion status, it doesn’t notify you when it’s done. Also, keep in mind that Txt2Csv only converts one file at a time; batch conversions aren’t supported just yet.
