UDP Unicorn is a handy little tool for testing network security. It creates and sends UDP packets (that's short for User Datagram Protocol) to flood a target. Pretty cool, right?
The best part? You don’t even need to install it! Just save UDP Unicorn on a USB flash drive or similar storage, and you can run it on any computer. This means you can keep it with you wherever you go!
If you prefer, you can just drop the executable file anywhere on your hard drive and run it from there. The great thing is that UDP Unicorn doesn’t mess with your Windows Registry or leave files behind when you're done.
The program has a simple interface that's easy to navigate. You can enter the target IP address and port number without breaking a sweat. Plus, you can adjust the packet size or turn on random mode if that's your thing.
You can also set how many threads and sockets per thread you'd like, along with delay and timeout intervals. Getting started is as easy as clicking one button to kick off “attack” mode!
While it's running, you'll see how much data you've sent. If you need to stop it for any reason, just hit the button again, and you can reset the counter easily.
This app also lets you ping the target and reverse DNS lookups—just more useful features at your fingertips!
UDP Unicorn is super light on system resources too! It doesn’t hog your CPU or memory, so everything runs smoothly without crashing your operating system or throwing up error messages. Thanks to its straightforward layout, anyone—no matter their skill level—can figure out how to use UDP Unicorn.
