UniRed is a handy Windows application that makes creating and editing Unicode text documents super easy. It's packed with both standard and advanced settings, so whether you're a beginner or a pro, you'll find something useful here.

User-Friendly Setup

The setup process is quick and smooth, so you won't run into any headaches getting started. Once you're in, you'll see a friendly interface where you can open all sorts of files like TXT, INI, HTML, XML, Pascal, Delphi, C or C++. Plus, it supports many character sets!

Work with Multiple Tabs

One cool feature is the support for multiple tabs. This means you can have several documents open at once and switch between them easily. You can also convert text to uppercase or lowercase, wrap text as needed, and even use a spellchecker.

Powerful Search Features

If you need to find something specific in your document, no problem! You can search for words or phrases and jump straight to any line. There's also an option to synchronize the structure of your document.

Customization Options

You can customize your experience by switching to another UI language and adjusting font sizes and colors along with syntax highlight colors. Plus, it lets you save your window size and position!

Performance Tested

In our tests, we didn't run into any issues like freezing or crashing. It runs smoothly without hogging up CPU or RAM on your machine.

A Few Drawbacks

That said, the interface could use a little sprucing up visually. Also worth noting is that UniRed hasn't seen updates in quite some time. But if you're looking for a solid Unicode file editor to try out, give UniRed a shot!
