VisualCAM is a cool software tool that helps you create, edit, and produce geometrical designs and other CAM applications. It comes packed with professional-grade tools that are pretty easy to use.
The installation might take a bit of time, but don't worry! You won't need any special setup or complicated configurations. The main window of the app is spacious and well-organized. This makes it super easy to work with different types of files like AutoCAD, IGES, MecSoft, RAW triangle, Rhino 3DM, SolidWorks, and more.
You can zoom in and out of your designs or change the view in 3D by adjusting your position along the x, y, and z axes. Whether you want to see from the front, back, or top of the design—it's all possible! You can even switch to a shaded display mode for a better look.
If you're new to this kind of software, you can easily use buttons and your mouse to get things done. But if you're more experienced, you can dive right into typing command lines just like in AutoCAD!
With VisualCAM, you can add points, lines, circles, arcs, curves—pretty much any shape you need! There are tons of options too: text inserts, spirals, flat area regions...you name it!
The selection modes are handy as well. You can pick all points or lines (even polylines), arcs, or circles; plus select based on type, layer color, or name.
You can reposition items in your project easily. Rotate them in 2D or 3D mode? Check! Scale them up or down? Absolutely! You can also analyze vertex coordinates and arc diameters among other useful features.
If you want to customize things further—you're in luck! Change measurement units and tolerance levels or even adjust UI colors. Plus there's an option to modify grid settings and lighting!
In our tests, VisualCAM worked like a charm without crashing Windows or causing any error messages. It's responsive too—so commands get executed quickly without slowing down your system performance.
