WiSE is a super user-friendly software that helps you keep tabs on your WLAN. What does that mean? Well, it lets you see who's using your WiFi connection and gives you the power to block anyone you don’t recognize!

Getting Started with WiSE

To get WiSE working right, just make sure to launch it with admin rights. After that, it will start scanning your network. You’ll see a list of all the devices connected to your WLAN pop up at the bottom of the window. This way, you can easily figure out more about each device.

Learn About Connected Devices

If you click on any device shown, you'll learn its type—like whether it's a ‘Computer’, ‘Mobile’, ‘Router’, or ‘Switch’. You’ll also see its MAC and IP address. If there’s no name available for a device, no worries! You can give it one yourself. Plus, there’s even a handy ‘Ping Test’ feature so you can check response times or choose to ‘Block’ a device if needed.

Configuring Your Network Settings

In the 'Configuration' section of WiSE, pick which network adapter you want to use or generate a random MAC address for added privacy. Another cool feature is being able to 'Isolate' your network; this makes it hard for others to access when you're in public places.
