3BMeteo

3BMeteo is an app that shows detailed information about the weather forecast. It mainly focuses on Italy but it gathers details about any location in the world.

It's optimized for Windows 8, 8.1 and 10, so it can be downloaded from the Windows Store and blended with your Start Screen or Menu. At startup, it requests permission to know your location, in order to automatically determine the current weather details in your area. However, this isn't mandatory.

In addition to the current weather conditions, 3BMeteo lists the daily forecast for the next ten days for Italy (day quarters and hour by hour) as well as seven days for any other locations (day quarters only). This includes the minimum and maximum expected temperature (Celsius), humidity, wind speed (kilometers per hour), as well as amount of precipitations.

There are also maps available of Italian locations that you can explore to get a view of all places at once. There are different types of maps: for weather, rain and snow, temperature, clouds, winds, sea, alerts, and pollen count.

Also, 3BMeteo gives you the possibility to mark favorite locations to quickly look them up and add live tiles to the Start Screen or Menu. It has forecast videos and news available for some Italian regions, along with satellite images, radar and webcam footage for Italy and the rest of Europe.

When it comes to configuration settings, you can view the wind speed in knots instead of kilometers per hour and the temperature unit in Fahrenheit instead of Celsius, as well as disable the localization request at startup.
