3D Pipes Screensaver

The screensaver is delivered in a lightweight package, which can even fit on a thumb drive to be used or played on different computers. Running it as a regular file simply starts a full-screen preview, and it’s also possible to adjust dedicated behavior options through the settings panel.

In order to properly install the screensaver, the dedicated function needs to be selected from the context menu. As soon as this is done the Windows Screen Saver Settings panel shows up, with this one already selected as the default screensaver to play on idle time. The default wait time is 15 minutes, and it can be modified. Moreover, the logon screen can be displayed on resume.

The screensaver also comes with a set of options. They’re accessed from the settings panel, and make it possible to choose a single or multiple pipes, the type of joint to display, as well as the surface style, which can be a random solid color or a custom texture loaded from a BMP file. The display mode for the current adapter can be changed, as well as having hardware 3D rendering disabled.
