3DiCSI is a cool Windows app designed to help you check out and understand Chemical Shift Imaging (CSI) data. It can handle all sorts of multi-dimension data sets, whether it's 1D, 2D single/multi slice, or even 3D CSI!
This tool works with different image types like Philips (PAR/REC), GE Genesis (pre 11), GE Excite 11.0 or later (DICOM), Siemens (MAG file), Standard DICOM files, and Bruker (2dseq file). If you come across an unknown data type, don’t worry! You can manually enter the specific parameters and even add more file formats using third-party plugins.
You can take a look at CSI data along with anatomic reference images all in one window! Plus, each voxel can be previewed in its panel, showing its spatial location in three orthogonal image windows. How neat is that?
3DiCSI also offers smart processing tools that let you manipulate your data set in real time. You can phase it, zero-fill it, smooth it out spatially, filter it, and correct the baseline. Some key features include constant phase correction, temporal filtering (like Lorentzian and Gaussian), spatial smoothing options like Hamming and Cosine smoothing, water suppression, PPM origin adjustments, lipid suppression, and peak alignment.
If you're working on multiple exams at once, batch actions are super handy! You can record a sequence of processing steps into macro files for future use on any CSI data set. It saves so much time!
You can export project reports to HTML format too. These reports include info about the image, spectra, metabolic map, and other important details. And if you want to save your project for later? No problem! Just print the data or save it directly to your computer.
3DiCSI comes loaded with analysis methods like Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to help detect sources of variation in your CSI data set. You can also use PCA-based iterative peak alignment to correct any frequency or phase variations. The Constrained Non-Negative Matrix Factorization (cNMF) method helps recover spectral patterns along with their spatial distributions.
In summary, 3DiCSI offers a full suite of features from visualization to spectral processing and quantification. It's perfect for professional users looking for advanced functionality.
