4Uonly

4Uonly is an advanced security tool that enables you to store personal accounts and passwords in a safe environment protected by a master password. It especially comes in handy when sharing your computer with other users.

Setting it up takes little time and effort, since there are only familiar options involved. Plus, there are no mandatory or optional software components bundled with the installer.

As far as the interface goes, 4Uonly has a large window with a plain appearance, yet neatly structured layout, keeping all settings stored in the menu bar.

New account entries can be added to the database by specifying the service and user names, password, expiration date (days or never expire), memo, and auto command, which can be used to launch a URL to enter the key in your web browser with minimal effort.

The application integrates a random key generator whose complexity can be customized by including or excluding lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers, symbols, and alphabetic characters at the beginning, along with the length (minimum and maximum number of characters).

It's possible to create as many entries as you want, edit their properties any time or remove them from the list if you change your mind, copy passwords or user names to the Clipboard, view memos, as well as to save the password list to the program's proprietary format to later open it and pick up from where you left off.

When it comes to general preferences, you can clear the Clipboard on exit, minimize the tool to the systray to make it non-intrusive, use enhanced encryption, make the frame stay on top of other windows, set the default user name, and so on.

It worked smoothly in our tests on newer Windows editions, although it hasn't received updates for a long time. CPU and RAM usage was low. Thanks to its intuitive interface and options, 4Uonly can be easily tackled by those looking to keep accounts safe in a password-protected database.
