ADB Explorer

If you regularly need to transfer files to and from your tablet or mobile device, then you already know that the entire process can be cumbersome. Not only do you need to toggle the settings of the USB connection, but viewing and managing files can be irritating.

ADB Explorer is a lightweight utility that provides a wrapper for ADB and that simplifies the way you preview and manage all related files.

The program is available as a Microsoft Store app, but you can also install it if you prefer it. The app comes with a sleek and stylish Fluent interface and you can get started by connecting to the ADB. All available connections will be neatly displayed and you can further customize what the app should show via the Settings.

As far as the operations go, the app enables you to perform a wide variety of file management actions, including, but not limited to, cut, copy, paste, push, pull or transfer. A root view is possible as well, but keep in mind that it will show only for files that support root features.

With the latest release the developer also included a text editor feature, so you can also make necessary edits. Regardless of the chosen operation, the actions are displayed in a queue with progress so you know exactly what’s going on.

According to the developer, the program includes an optional Recycle Bin feature that stores the file that you erase with regular delete. In case you change your mind, you can easily recover them from this location or you can permanently delete the ones you don’t plan to use.
