What is AdRem SNMP Walker?

AdRem SNMP Walker is a handy tool for diagnostics and scanning. It can read and analyze the whole MIB tree, which helps you gather data and export it easily. This software uses the AdRem App Engine, which is based on Chromium. This lightweight utility makes it super easy to collect MIB data from your chosen device. If you don’t have the engine already, it downloads automatically!

Easy Interface for Everyone

The focus here is more on what the tool can do rather than how it looks. The interface is pretty simple with just a few options to choose from. There’s a field where you can enter the IP address of your target machine. If you prefer, you can use the hostname instead—it works just as well!

Configuring SNMP Parameters

Once you've got that IP address in place, it's time to set up your SNMP parameters. You’ll be able to pick the port number and select your protocol version from a drop-down menu. All versions of SNMP are supported here, whether they need authentication or not! This feature makes it great for validating SNMP too.

Scanning Made Simple

After everything's set up, the application kicks off scanning your device's MIB data right away! You’ll see how many OIDs have been scanned and how long it's taken so far. Plus, saving all that data to a file takes just a couple of clicks.
