The better you keep track of important, or personal information, the easier it is to access it later on when needed. For instance, a journal can help organize your ideas, thoughts, or maybe tasks. All My Journals - Free Version is one such application, with an intuitive design, and accessible set of features.

As far as visuals go, the structure provides quick access to load, and save options, the reader, and backup through a slim side panel. The upper toolbar lets you quickly navigate through days, months, or years, for neat track of time.

Needless to say that the center area is where all text goes. Font options don’t provide the whole default palette of settings as regular text editor, instead, you can only toggle attributes like bold, italic, and underline, without color, or size. On the other hand, the page can benefit from text alignment options, adding bullets, or creating numbered lists.

Considering you use the application on the long run, reviewing past entries is enhanced by the reader component. This brings up a separate window with most content dedicated to reading, and a couple of controls to move through pages. Unfortunately, there’s no search options in the reader, or larger navigation mode to quickly jump to sections of interest.

The application allows you to make a backup you the entire journal, in case unexpected events occur. There’s an export option which can generate an RTF file, which also lets you choose range of content to save. The basic print function is found in the menu bar. For more security, the journal can be equipped with a password, but not the documents it exports.

Taking everything into consideration, we can say that All My Journals - Free Version is a basic solution to keeping track of thoughts, and ideas. Since it’s a journal, a built-in password tool enhances security, but also provides options to export, or print. An integrated reader makes it easy to review entries, being worth your while overall.
