Amyuni PDF Suite

Documents stored on a computer are not completely safe, an active Internet connection exposing them to many threats. However, there are some specialized file formats used for more important documents, because it can be a difficult task to alter them. Amyuni PDF Suite is the type of application to use when handling them, namely PDF files.

The application is mostly a package that contains two individual tools, one for converting and one for creating. Visual support is offered by the creation tools, with an intuitive interface and large enough workspace to cleverly arrange elements around.

You can design new PDF documents from scratch, without the need of any other external application or info. Provided tools let you add text fields, with customizable font, size, color and positioning. Various other elements can be used to enhance the documents, lines, shapes, images or tables being only a few.

What's more, the application lets you insert other PDF documents in a given position, in case you want to merge them into a single form. Other tools include the possibility to sign the document, secure it with a password, sent via email, or even have existing content further modified.

When it comes to the convertor, there is no actual interface to work with. This component is merely a virtual printer, with the core function being to transform all files that are triggered through it, to a PDF document. However, for common formats, you can use the creator to export to other file formats other than PDF, like HTML, JPG, TIFF or XLS.

Taking everything into consideration, we can say that Amyuni PDF Suite is a handy application which can be used for fast generation of PDF files. However, it feels a little rough around the edges overall, with difficult to manage creating options and positioning. In the end, it serves it's purpose well and it's worth a try.
