AntiMicroX is a lightweight mapping application that provides a quick way to map gamepad keys to mouse, keyboard, macros and scripts. The app is a fork of AntiMicro, a similar tool that currently is not being maintained.

The application comes with a portable edition, so it’s up to you if you want to install it. The interface consists of a single window and where you will be able to view your gamepad along with the options that can be customized as soon as you connect the joystick or similar device.

It is worth mentioning that you can generate a SDL2 configuration via the program, which can come in handy if you are using atypical gamepads. The SDL2 configuration can be used to map your current gamepad to a generic one, for instance.

Granted, if you are using Steam, then you can also configure the controller and mapping directly from here. Then again, keep in mind that the setup will only work for the games you launch with Steam.
