Aqua 3D Screensaver is a Windows screensaver that brings underwater life with tropical fish, rock, plants and ripple sounds on your desktop.

Once you have installed the application, this tool becomes accessible from the Windows screensaver menu, thus allowing you to set it as the default screensaver and change various settings. The user interface is really simple and offers only a few configuration settings to tinker with.

Aqua 3D Screensaver allows users to pick the video mode, enable sounds, show the number of frames per second, select the transparency level for the background image, as well as change the resolution.

You can select between four different fish species (yellow, pear, blue and tiny fish) and pick the number of fish to be displayed pretty easily, thanks to its built-in sliders. All the adjustments applied can be restored to their default state with just a single click.

During our testing we have noticed that the program provides good image quality and without errors throughout the entire process. The lack of dedicated parameters can be good news only for rookies, as they don’t have to spend a lot of time to configure them.

It would have been useful to see support for background music to be added from local audio files, and additional fish species to choose from.

Aqua 3D Screensaver can be installed and configured by all types of users, regardless of their computer skills. It doesn’t slow down the system performance and it’s easy to work with.
