Asterisk Password Spy

Asterisk Password Spy is an intuitive application that reveals passwords hidden by asterisks. It targets all types of users, regardless of their experience level, who have forgotten their passwords which have been previously recorded by Windows-based applications.

The interface of the program is represented by a clean window with a simple-to-navigate layout. All you have to do is drag a search icon over any password box ofd a program, in order to reveal it in the main application windows.

You can find out several details on the respective password, such as the process ID and name, class name and password field status.

It is possible to find out the password of multiple applications, in order to export this list to an external file (HTML or XML format) for further analysis. Plus, you can remove all items from the list.

On the other hand, there are no other options available through this app. The main frame stays on top of other windows and you cannot change this setting. Asterisk Password Spy runs on a very low quantity of CPU and system memory, so it doesn't burden the computer's overall performance.

No error dialogs have been shown throughout our evaluation and the tool did not hang or crash. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, Asterisk Password Spy's features should be seamlessly figured out, even by novice users.
