This nifty UWP app helps photographers figure out what to look for based on their gear and where they are. It even gives you weather updates that are specifically tailored for astrophotography.

Easy Location Sharing

Once you share your location and add details about your optics and sensors, Astron will whip up a list of sky objects to keep an eye on. These objects are sorted by their apparent magnitude, so you know what’s worth your time.

Dive Deeper into the Details

If something catches your eye, just select it! You can see all sorts of cool info like azimuth, altitude, declination, and right ascension time. Plus, the app even estimates how long you should expose your shot based on your gear and shows a preview of the object’s dimensions.

Calculating Exposure Time Made Easy

If you already have an idea about an object's apparent magnitude and size, you can quickly calculate exposure time using that info along with your gear’s specs.
