ASysIcon

ASysIcon is a feather-light software application that collects all registered system icons from your hard drive and shows them in a single window, giving you the possibility to view, copy and save them to custom locations. It doesn't include any other options or customization preferences.

You need .NET Framework installed to use this app. This way, you can drop the program files in any part of the HDD and just click the EXE to launch it. Another option is to copy it to a removable storage unit (like a USB flash drive) and directly run it on any computer to obtain all its registered system icons. Unlike most installers, this app doesn't modify the Windows registry configuration.

Represented by a common-looking window with a clear-cut structure, the interface shouldn't give you any kind of trouble. The utility automatically identifies all registered system icons and loads them in the main window with large icons.

You can change the display mode from large to small icons, select one or more icons from the list and copy them to the Clipboard as images with their original sizes, as well as extract icons and save them anywhere on the disk as BMP pictures. Apart from the fact that keyboard shortcuts are supported for all these commands, there are no other notable settings provided by ASysIcon.

We haven't come across any stability issues in our tests, thanks to the fact that the tool didn't hang, crash or show errors. It used low CPU and memory, so it didn't hog system resources. ASysIcon offers a fast and uncomplicated solution to viewing, copying and extracting system icons, and it can be seamlessly handled by anyone.
