If your accounts are protected by the Two-Factor Authentication method or 2FA, your data should be in good hands. However, if you are managing multiple accounts under 2FA, you might misplace or forget some of the authentication details. Authentiqr.NET can help you avoid such a situation by gathering all your details under a neat and secure interface that quietly resides in the system tray.
Authentiqr.NET is not a very complex application. It has a compact interface that can only be accessed through the system tray icon. When the app is freshly installed, the app's context menu will be very short. That changes when you start adding accounts, though.
The application supports any service or platform one can think about, yet it provides exclusive support to popular services such as Google, Microsoft, GitHub, Facebook, Dropbox, Uplay, ProtonMail, Coinbase, Cryptonator, Binance, BitMEX, and Reddit. By exclusive support, it means that the platform's icon will be associated with the entry, that's all.
Adding an account is very easy. Jot down the account name, and the authentication key you wish to preserve. Once the key is inputted, a QR code based on that combination will be generated along with a numerical code. Also, if you already have a QR image that you want to drop inside the app, that's possible.
To enhance the security aspect, Authentiqr.NET will generate a new code every 30 seconds. That would be the numerical code, not the QR or your security key. That code can then be copied to the clipboard with a single click.
To restrict access to the application, thus to your authentication codes, the application allows you to set a security code, which can be a regular PIN or a pattern code, similar to what smartphones get locked with.
Authentiqr.NET is a nifty tool that brings all your 2FA codes under a single roof. Get your authentication data in a jiffy from the system tray and don't worry about anyone trying to break into your vault.
