AutoDialogs is a simple-to-use software program that allows you to create a list with disk directories to quickly open from the system tray. It doesn't contain complicated options or customization preferences, making it accessible to all types of users.

Installing this application is a speedy and uncomplicated job that shouldn't give you any trouble. Once it's launched, AutoDialogs creates an icon in the taskbar notifications area and remains silent when not in use, so it doesn't interrupt your normal PC activities.

Left-clicking the tray icon reveals a menu with the default folders that you can open with one click. You can create new directories by right-clicking the icon and bringing up a small panel, where all you have to do is indicate the folder in question, enter a display name, and assigning an icon.

Optionally, it's possible to specify a keyboard shortcut for rapidly opening the folder without having to resort to the mouse. You can add as many new folders as you want, remove them from the menu, edit their properties any time, change their order in the menu, as well as organize them into different groups and add separators.

You can enable or disable confirmations for deleting icons and exiting the tool, remove the shell extension menu, ensure that paths are valid, assign hotkeys for showing the menu and the folders, ask the tool to run at every Windows startup until further notice, hide the systray icon, and so on.

No error dialogs popped up in our tests, and the software application didn't freeze or crash. It had minimal impact on the overall performance of the machine, running on low CPU and RAM.

To wrap it up, AutoDialogs provides you with a convenient method to quickly opening frequently accessed folders, and it can be handled by anyone with ease. On the other hand, it hasn't been updated for a long time, and the price of the full package seems too much.
