AWC Password Generator

Password Generator is a small-sized and portable application that you can use to generate random and powerful keys for multiple purposes, whether you want to secure wireless network connections or email accounts.

The entire program's packed in just one .exe file that can be saved in a custom location on the disk or on a USB flash drive, in order to seamlessly launch it on any computer effortlessly, without having to install anything beforehand.

It doesn't insert new entries in the system tray, need DLLs to run, or create files on the disk. A basic file deletion is enough to get rid of it.

As far as the interface goes, the utility opts for a classical frame with an outdated appearance, whose layout is user-friendly. All options available are displayed, so you can get an overview before diving into the configuration.

It's possible to set the number of passwords to generate, type of characters (numeric, alphanumeric, or both), set the minimum and maximum key length, include lowercase, uppercase or both kind of letters, allow or prevent duplicates, as well as specify the number of maximum attempts for valid characters and unique passwords.

Before generating the keys with one click, you can show a label that indicates the password number next to each entry. Unfortunately, Password Generator doesn't implement options for exporting or printing the list with keys. On the other hand, you can make a text selection to copy it to the Clipboard and paste it in a text editor.

It worked well in our tests, without freezing, crashing or indicating errors. CPU and RAM usage was minimal, so it didn't hamper system performance. Although it hasn't been updated for long time, Password Generator still works on newer Windows models, enabling you to quickly create random and secure keys.
