AweSync

AweSync is a handy software app that helps you sync your IBM Notes calendar, contacts, tasks, and notebook data with your Google Account. It’s super useful for keeping everything in check!

Easy Setup for Everyone

This tool uses a simple wizard to guide you through setting up everything. Don’t worry if you're not a tech whiz; the steps are pretty straightforward and easy to follow. You can choose your preferred language and enable syncing for events, contacts, and tasks.

Choose Your Sync Mode

You get to pick how you want things synced! There are two options: two-way sync (where data moves between IBM Notes and Google) or one-way (either from Notes to Google or vice versa). Just enter your Google email address, set up your password, and you’re good to go!

Calendar Control

AweSync lets you decide which calendars to sync. You can even select the default Google calendar. Plus, there’s an option for SMS notifications so you’ll never miss an important reminder.

Manage Contacts Like a Pro

You have control over how contacts are managed too! You can merge them or choose to overwrite them completely. The app gives you an overview of what’s happening during the sync process—like what was added or updated—so you’re always in the loop.

Quick Access Functions

If you right-click on the tray icon, you'll see a menu with quick options like syncing events or checking changed tasks. It’s all just one click away! You can also set it up to run at Windows startup so it's always ready when you are.

Customize Your Experience

AweSync lets you automate how often it syncs by setting custom intervals. You can also get stats after each sync session! If you're ever busy, just double-click on the tray icon to start or stop syncing instantly.

Secure Connections & More Features

The tool uses SSL connections for extra security and allows proxy settings as well as configuring your IBM Notes credentials. Plus, if some fields like location aren’t needed, those can be skipped during syncing.

User-Friendly Contact Management

You also have options for contact management like filtering categories (My Contacts, Friends) and skipping empty names. For tasks in Google Calendar, some default settings let guests edit events or invite others easily!
