Batch Word Document Binder is a handy tool that helps you merge multiple Microsoft Word files into one single document. It’s super easy to use, lightweight, and gets the job done in just a few seconds—talk about saving time! Plus, it works with both DOC and DOCX formats.
With Batch Word Document Binder, you can create a list of all the files you want to include in your final document. Just remember to add them in the right order because once they're set, you can’t move them around. This step is really important if your documents have to follow a specific sequence.
One thing to note is that this tool doesn’t let you drag and drop files into the list. You’ll need to load them manually by using the Add Files or Add Folder buttons. It’s straightforward but just something to keep in mind!
The order of your files matters because it affects how the final document will be formatted. The program automatically decides the format for the merged file based on what type of file is listed first. So if your first file is a *.doc, then that’s how the merged document will be saved—even if there are DOCX files after it.
You can also set the name for your output file and choose whether or not to activate certain merging options. Whether you want page breaks included or prefer headers/footers, it's totally up to you!
Another cool feature is that Batch Word Document Binder can create a separate folder for saving your merged file at a location you choose. By default, it saves on your Desktop, but you can easily change that setting. If you'd like, it can even save directly into the original folder where your first file is located!
