What is BATIP?

BATIP

BATIP is a totally free TCP/IP monitor that lets you check out all the important info about your network adapters. You can see stats like sent and received packets, connections, and other host-related details. It’s super handy for network admins!

Easy-to-Use Interface

The app comes with a user-friendly interface that’s split into four tabs. Each tab focuses on different aspects, so you can easily dive into your network adapters, statistics, connections, and host details without any fuss.

Network Card Details

When it comes to network card info, BATIP shows you everything you need to know! You’ll get details like the adapter type and MAC address, IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, and whether DHCP and WINS are enabled. Plus, it shows the DHCP server along with lease dates and primary/secondary WINS servers. And if you want to pick a preferred adapter? No problem! Just use the drop-down menu at the bottom.

Network Statistics Made Simple

You can easily tweak how often BATIP checks things out. Want to see your network speed or MTU? You got it! The app even gives you graphs for data flow—showing Unicast vs non-Unicast packets. You’ll know exactly how much data has been sent or received, including any errors or discards.

Connection Info at Your Fingertips

BATIP makes checking connections easy too! It shows local and remote IP addresses, where they come from (country of origin), connection status (like established or listening), and whether it’s using TCP or UDP. Plus, you can set how often these updates happen.

Host Information Breakdown

The last tab is all about host information. Here you’ll find the host name, domain details, DNS servers in use, node type, DHCP scope ID, and whether IP routing or WINS proxy is on. It even tells you if NetBIOS uses DNS!

In summary, BATIP offers an easy way to check out key network info while keeping CPU and RAM usage low during our tests. If you're looking for a no-fuss tool to monitor your TCP/IP needs, check this out!
