Bees Algorithm Implementation

As the name implies, Bees Algorithm Implementation is as the name suggests a Java implementation of Bees Algorithm. This tool contains a BeesAlgoImpl class can extended to override the function "function" which is the objective function to be minimized.

Generally speaking, a colony tends to extend itself over relatively large distances and in multiple directions simultaneously for the purpose of gathering the pollen from multiple sources, while having several bees exploring for new food sources that the colony can exploit.

Bees Algorithm refers to a population-based search formula that tends to replicate the food foraging behavior of a bee colony. Similarly to the bee search, the algorithm has the role of finding the best solution to an optimization problem and comprises of an initialization procedure and a search cycle that features five operations. Take note that in order to apply the bees algorithm, a condition must be met, namely that the distance between the solution is defined.

By default, the search is performed progressively focused on a given area that is considered optimal. However, if no improvement is recorded in a given period and a pre-set number of query cycles, the focus shifts to the next area, where the entire process is repeated.
