What is BitBuddy?

BitBuddy is a cool torrent client that works just like StrongDC++ or ApexDC++. It lets you upload and download files from all over the globe. Pretty neat, right?

Easy-to-Use Interface

The user interface is really friendly and easy to navigate. In your task list, you can see a bunch of info like the state, name, size, download rate, upload rate, estimated time left, seeds, and peers for each torrent. It’s all laid out nicely so you don’t have to dig around.

Create Your Own Torrents

If you want to create a torrent, it’s super simple! Just pick the source file (you can choose one or multiple files), set where you want it saved, and optionally add your name as the creator along with a comment.

Organize Your Tasks

On the left side of your screen, you'll find sections for tasks (like leech only or seed only), favorites (like your go-to torrent sites), and even a place for searching torrents. There’s also an RSS reader right below your task list to keep things organized.

Dive Into Torrent Details

You can check out detailed info on any specific torrent too! You’ll see things like download name, save path, creation date, total size, info hash—all that good stuff. Plus details about seeds and downloads along with comments.

Extra Features Galore!

If you're curious about more details—like IP addresses or client types—you can find that info too! You’ll get stats on download speeds and logs showing time stamps and messages. And yes, scheduling tasks is also possible!

Tweak Your Preferences

The "Preferences" menu allows you to customize proxy settings, folder options for downloads, and even scheduling features. You can make BitBuddy work just the way you want it!

Low Resource Usage

This program doesn’t hog system resources either! It wraps up tasks quickly without throwing errors during our tests (which is always a plus). But heads up—there isn’t a help file available if you get stuck.

A Great Choice for Torrents

BitBuddy might not have groundbreaking features but it's still an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable torrent client. We highly recommend giving it a shot!
