With the help of Book Maker users can seamlessly create Adobe PostScript files (PS format) from PDF documents in just a few steps.

The tool integrates a simple configuration set that can be adjusted even by users with little experience in PDF conversion software.

The setup operation is standard and takes little time to complete. You can launch Book Maker to view the user-friendly interface, based on a common window split into two panels, dedicated to configuring general and book creation settings, respectively.

You can point out the PDF document using the file browser only, since the drag-and-drop support is not featured. Batch processing is not possible, meaning that you can convert only one file at a time.

As far as settings are concerned, you can enable brochuring and set the number of pages in the brochure, modify page orientation, enable page border, pick the input and output page format, as well as establish the total logical pages per physical one.

The software program carries out a conversion job in no time, while running on a very low amount of CPU and RAM. It does not affect the computer's overall performance and, since it can be minimized to the taskbar, it does not interrupt normal user activity either.

We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation, as Book Maker did not hang, crash or display error messages. The tool serves its purpose when it comes to turning PDFs into PS items and configuring settings. Too bad that a batch processing feature is not available.
