Cable Modem Diagnostic provides you with a comprehensive application that can measure the functioning parameters of cable modems with support for the DOCSIS standard.

The interface is simple and intuitive, consisting of a single window that comprises all the options and features, which makes the program suitable for any type of user, whether it is a beginner or a computer literate.

The connected modem is detected automatically, but its IP can also be entered manually, in case an error occurs. Note that you have to enter the customer-side IP address (used on the Ethernet / USB socket to which the user connects) and not the ISP-side IP.

The main window displays detailed information regarding the basic modem characteristics, such as its model, the upstream and the downstream frequencies, the signal to noise ratio or the name of the configuration file.

The up-time is also displayed, allowing you to view for how many days, hours, minutes and seconds has the modem been continuously functioning.

Cable Modem Diagnostic can monitor the upstream and the downstream power levels, the output and the input levels and determine their maximum and minimum values. The difference between the maximum and the minimum values is automatically calculated and displayed in the main window.

The program is capable of detecting the standby mode of the modem and comes with a ping function that helps you determine whether the modem functions as it should and estimate its connectivity speed.
